The Workflow of Custom Illustrations
Considerations for Custom Illustrations
- Start scheduling after full payment is received.
- The typical turnaround time for illustrations is 5-10 working days. Urgent requests can be accommodated with an additional 30% rush fee, resulting in a delivery time of 1-3 days.
- Payment can be made via wire transfer, credit card, or check.
- If there are any misunderstandings or minor revisions, we will make the necessary changes until the illustration is correct.
- If there are any significant changes to the sketch during the drawing process (e.g., converting a 2D to a 3D, changing elements, changing mechanism to abstract and the layout size of illustration, etc.), a new estimate will be provided.
- Any modifications to the elements in the illustration after completion (e.g., converting a 2D to a 3D, redrawing elements, etc.) will incur additional modification fees. The cost will be estimated based on the proportion of the specific modifications workload on the overall workload of the illustration.
- There are 3 free modification opportunities for fine-tuning text/position/size, etc. After three times, we will charge an additional 10%~30% modification fee.
- Please be sure to summarize the modification requirements clearly at one time. It is recommended to make it in PPT/word format.
- In order to prevent bad behaviors such as cheating and plagiarism, if you are not satisfied with the initial draft, a 50% refund is available. However, the copyright of the original files will remain with us. If the illustrations or elements are used after a refund, legal actions such as contacting the journal or pursuing a copyright infringement lawsuit may be taken.
